Artists

Shinsuke Yoshitake
Since his debut as a picture book author, "Ringo-may-be" (2013), Shinsuke Yoshitake has been creating a huge boom among children and adults alike. With a fine-tip pen, Yoshitake continues to draw endless fantasies and ideas in his head, quirks and gestures of people that make you chuckle, and a way of looking at things that strikes at the truth of the world, attracting many people. Yoshitake has been active as an illustrator and modeling artist before publishing his picture books.

This first large-scale solo exhibition will take a peek into the artist's "inside of his head" by displaying more than 400 items, including small sketches and original picture book drawings, which are the source of his ideas, as well as three-dimensional objects he conceived for this exhibition and his treasured collection.
