Artists

Shinsuke Yoshitake
Since his debut work as a picture book author with "Maybe Apples" in 2013, Shinsuke Yoshitake has sparked a major boom from children to adults. His endless imagination and ideas, quirky human habits and gestures that make people chuckle, and his unique perspective on the truths of the world, all drawn with a fine pen tip, continue to captivate many.

Before publishing picture books, Yoshitake was an illustrator and sculptor. In his first large-scale solo exhibition, this exhibition showcases over 400 items, including small sketches and original picture book illustrations that are the source of the author's ideas, as well as three-dimensional objects and cherished collections devised specifically for this exhibition by Yoshitake. Visitors will have the opportunity to peek into the "inside of his head," the rich world of ideas that supports Yoshitake's "Maybe" exhibition space.
