Matsuri-to

Canon Gallery Ginza
Finished
This exhibition is a curated project by Canon MJ under the "Matsuri-to" initiative, which aims to pass down traditional festivals from various regions across Japan.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Canon Gallery's establishment in February 2023, this exhibition marks the sixth installment in the "Canon Gallery 50th Anniversary Project." The exhibition will be sequentially held at three locations: Canon Gallery S (Shinagawa), Canon Gallery Ginza in Tokyo, and Canon Gallery Osaka.

Each venue will feature a different theme, with Shinagawa focusing on "Gods Inhabiting the Universe," Ginza exploring "People Praying, Dancing, and Celebrating," and Osaka delving into "Mysterious Festivals in a Small Village."
