This exhibition is a curated project by "Matsuri-to," a Japanese festival exploration project launched by Canon MJ to preserve traditional festivals nationwide. As the 6th installment of the "Canon Gallery 50th Anniversary Exhibition," commemorating the 50th anniversary of the opening of Canon Gallery in February 2023, the exhibition will be sequentially held at three locations: Canon Gallery S (Shinagawa), Canon Gallery Ginza (Tokyo), and Canon Gallery Osaka.
Each location will host the exhibition with a different theme. Shinagawa will showcase works themed around "Divine Beings Inhabiting the Universe," Ginza will focus on "People Praying, Dancing, and Celebrating," and Osaka will present works centered on the theme of "Mysterious Festivals in a Small Village."
