Kyoto-based art institution Kyoto Interchange is pleased to announce the "Koki Tanaka" exhibition from Friday, January 20 through Sunday, March 12, 2023.
In keeping with Kyoto Interchange's concept of independent artist-produced exhibitions, Tanaka chose to sell his artwork and to determine how it would be sold. He will also take an active role in the exhibition's management. According to Tanaka's plan, the proceeds from selling the six new paintings will be used exclusively to pay the fees of future artists participating in the Kyoto Interchange. The exhibition will be extended until all works have been purchased. Several events will be held during the exhibition.
