Fumika Tsuchitori
Fumika Tsuchiya is a Kyoto-based artist. Her "I and You" series depicts two people in an intimate relationship, and her "A Scene" series extracts elements such as color and form from landscapes. In addition to his solo exhibition, she will also participate in " Art Award Tokyo Marunouchi 2021", "Inside the Collector's Vault, vol.1 - Unleashed Collection Exhibition" (2020), and "Kyoto Art for Tomorrow - Kyoto Prefecture Selected Artists Exhibition" (2020). The artist's first book of paintings, "Inside the Collector's Vault, vol. 1" (2021) and "Inside the Collector's Vault, vol. 1" (2021) will be published.
Tsuchitori's first book of drawings is composed entirely of drawings. The drawings, which are drawn in a variety of sizes and materials in a more familiar and everyday manner, have a personal and intimate feel that touches the starting point of the artist's production.
This exhibition will feature approximately 30 works, mainly drawings from the artist's book of works. In conjunction with the exhibition, two types of handkerchiefs, original goods of Fumika Tsuchitori x NADiff, featuring works from the book, will be released.
