NAZE
Naze was born in 1989 in Ibaraki and works in Kyoto using graffiti and garbage in his work. Naze says that both garbage and graffiti are forms that are hated by people, but that they are things that someone has left behind. The value placed on them changes greatly depending on the perspective of a viewer. In this first solo show, Naze ("why?") will look back at these questions and values. During the exhibition period the artist will also be in the gallery space and working on a piece using garbage collected in Tokyo.
