"Chibi Maruko-chan," "Coji-Coji," "Momono Kanzume"- this exhibition delves into the enduring charm of Sakura Momoko, a prolific artist who wore many hats as a manga artist, essayist, lyricist, and scriptwriter, continuously introducing new characters and essays to the world.

Starting its serialization in 1986 and becoming a national manga beloved by everyone from adults to children since its anime adaptation in 1990, "Chibi Maruko-chan" holds a special place. Following that, her debut essay, "Momono Kanzume," published in 1991, became a massive bestseller with over 2.5 million copies sold. This exhibition showcases approximately 300 color original drawings and handwritten manuscripts, including representative works, in an unprecedented volume.
