Akira Fujimoto "Soap Bubble Surface"

Akira Fujimoto is a contemporary artist not bound by any particular technique or medium but rather expresses himself in a variety of forms, including two-dimensional, three-dimensional, video, and art projects. A common theme in Fujimoto's expression is "energy," and he attempts to respond to uncontrollable events and phenomena, from social phenomena to environmental issues, as a contemporary artist. While implementing various art projects, Fujimoto has continued to create paintings. In recent years, he has been working on abstract paintings using various production methods.
In this solo exhibition, "Soap Bubble Surface," Fujimoto will present two new series of paintings, "Action Printing," in which he abstractly transfers paint onto canvas in the manner of printmaking, and "Replacement," in which he creates collages by removing the paint left on the canvas after it dries. Fujimoto's solo exhibition will be titled "Solution".
