Sono Aida #Shinyurakucho" is the name of a limited-time art project that utilizes the vacant storefront on the first floor of the Shin-Yurakucho Building as a spatial medium. One of the projects, “Artists Studio," is a one-and-a-half month program in which each artist is given a month and a half to create a work of art and exhibit his/her activities as an artist, as well as to sell his/her work. The artists in the studio program will be replaced each term, and in addition to the exhibitions and " Out School," a program for experiencing and learning about contemporary art, will run concurrently, aiming to create a new art community in the city center, where there are no artists.
In addition to the two winners of the A-TOM Art Award 2022, the 9th term of Artists Studio will welcome Akira Fujimoto, owner of the Sonoaida Project and a resident artist in the first term. An exhibition will be held from February 24th, the last day of the exhibition period, to present the results of the residency.
