There may be no era that makes us more aware of the concept of a "century" than the 20th century. In the 100 years, humanity faced two world wars, global political and economical changes, as well as changes in daily life. These changes were also reflected in the art of the same period. It was during these times that the modern and contemporary artworks from The Museum of Modern Art, Wakayama collection were created.
This exhibition presents various perspectives - history reflected in artworks, changes brought by new materials and techniques, the spread of art through education - to enjoy the art of the 20th century.
