This is the first exhibition in Japan for the Manilla-based artist Ev Yu, whose paintings incorporate images from comics and printed graphics. “Souvenir State” features colorful paintings about the various “obstructions” caused by Manilla’s chaotic state. Experimental comic book artist Haruyo Higashi will join Yu for an artists’ talk.
