The solo exhibition of work from Ryu Kato is presented here in association with the Yebisu International Festival for Art & Alternative Visions, featuring the photographic series “Today”, grand prize winner of Midtown Award 2014, the ice sculpture “A New Day”, recipient of the Spiral SICF12 Fumio Nanjo Award and a new work of moving image. With a particular wit and intelligence he condenses his expression into a minimal touch which leaves a deep impression upon its viewer.
