Yuriko Nishikawa
The latest exhibition of a series depicting bottles with colorful stripes has been ongoing since 2020. Yuriko Nishikawa, in this new series of works, dyes fabrics, sews together multiple pieces of cloth, transfers familiar scenes, and depicts bottles, thus reexamining the spatiality of painting anew. Multiple dimensions and layers of air connecting from painting to reality emerge, and the tangible reality is etched.
