On February 10, 2024, Tokyo Midtown Management launched the "Sono Aida #Tokyo Midtown Award" project to support young artists by providing them with spaces for creation and exhibition, and to infuse the city with new artistic energy.
Running until July 28, the project is divided into three phases, each lasting two months. In each phase, two artists are selected, making a total of six artists throughout the project. These artists will live and work at the Nihonbashi Muromachi 162 Building, where they will create and display their works and host events to engage with the local community and visitors. Each phase ends with an exhibition showcasing the artists' creations. The first phase's exhibition began on March 16.
Kanata Goto and Chisato Matsumoto have been chosen as the artists for the third phase, starting their creative work on June 1.
Artist Studio: June 1 - July 11
Exhibition: July 12 - July 28
