In 2024, the Shiseido Art House will have two semesters of exhibitions. The first, starting March 1, focuses on "Spring Art and Crafts With Poetry," which combines Japanese-style paintings, Western-style paintings, contemporary art, and crafts. Artworks depicting the themes of early to late spring will be paired with spring poems from Japan and beyond, aiming to revive the rich tradition of Japanese art intertwined with literature since ancient times. The exhibition packs density with nine out of thirteen artists showcasing figurative paintings being honored with the Order of Cultural Merit, alongside all nine craftspersons designated as Living National Treasures. The art house also hosts "Craft for All of Us Selection 2024-Spring to Summer" and an exhibition featuring portraits and objects, including rare original prints by Man Ray.
