The exhibition highlights the contributions of two artists from Tendo City, Yamagata Prefecture. Shogo Endo (1930-2020), initially an art teacher, joined the art group Murayama Bijutsu and gained acclaim for sculptures and portraits exhibited at local and regional art shows. Arimitsu Ito (born 1948), a self-taught painter and craftsperson, contributed landscape paintings and held leadership roles in local art groups. Both artists have played pivotal roles in fostering the art and cultural scene of Tendo City.
