Tenjin, the central area of Fukuoka city is under a huge transformation. This time, we will focus on the works of artists who joined our residency program, reflecting on things that intrigued them in Fukuoka, including the people and architectural landscape. The show includes works by Moon Kyungwon (Korea), who is now internationally well-known, and Jolene Mok (Hong Kong), who has joined many artists in residence programs worldwide. Through their works created in Fukuoka, we hope to take a closer look at the city’s transition.
