ヨコトリはつかれたけど、今回はほんとに楽しめる、縄文から現在までの横浜をたどる、いい記念展でした！

This exhibition will shine a light on the true diversity of Yokohama, from the people who lived here before its famous port opened in 1859, to its current citizens, hailing from some 170 nations. The show will make full use of the museum’s collection and also feature newly commissioned works.

The exhibition title is an acknowledgement that the Yokohama Museum of Art is back after three years of renovations and a message of acceptance to everyone who has been or is now connected with Yokohama, regardless of the era in which they lived or the region in which they were born.

Yokohama Museum Of Art features the work of artists associated with Yokohama, surrealist works, and a vast photography collection. 
The museum continuously expands its collection, which totals over 6,000 pieces ranging from the 19th century to the present age. Yokohama Museum of Art holds exhibitions of this collection throughout the year, as well as planned exhibitions four times a year to different themes. The facilities include an atelier, art library, and terminals offering art information. They also sporadically hold concerts to provide enjoyment through other forms of art.
