One Piece has exceeded 3 million copies per volume for over 10 years and has surpassed 510 million copies in total worldwide (as of April 2024). In celebration of the 100th volume of Jump Comics and the 1,000th serialized chapter, this exhibition will display color proofs and printing plates archived from the series, alongside original illustrations by Eiichiro Oda. The production process of "Weekly Shonen Jump" and "Jump Comics" will be captured with 8K high-speed cameras and projected on three 8K projectors. Stories from chapters 1 to 1,110, created over 27 years, will be cut from the comics and displayed as a continuous scroll on a 3.6m high and 140m long wall. This unprecedented exhibition, which even the staff involved in its production have never seen before in terms of volume and quality, will be held at Play!Museum in Tachikawa, Tokyo, with plans for a North American release to follow.
