The Japanese word "kiku" has multiple meanings, including hearing sounds, accepting, inquiring, and listening attentively. These meanings share the recognition and absorption of information. This project explores artistic practices that arise from such "listening." The exhibition includes a collaborative research project on attire, sound, and environment by fashion designer Yoshinari Nishio, sound culture researcher and sound artist Eisuke Yanagisawa, and the exhibition organizers. It also features works by Dutch artist Femke Herregraven on voice, AI, and community, and by Zheng Bo, who collaborated with specializing in biodiversity, soil ecology, and plant adaptation research.
