The exhibition "Let's Adorn the Dining Table" focuses on everyday items such as plates, cups, and trays, highlighting their value through repeated use in daily life. It sheds light not only on their practical uses but also on their power to interact with perception.
This project is a cross-departmental collaboration between students from the ceramics department and the second photography department. Each pair of students worked together to create objects. Each piece of ceramics is accompanied by a photograph that enhances the world of the work. Additionally, a short interview with the ceramics creator is provided in text form, allowing the author to share the story behind the work for a deeper understanding.
The students have approached this theme with their unique individuality, creating original works using different ideas, techniques, and processing methods. The exhibition features a wide range of pieces, from a butter case shaped like a Greek temple to a minimalist tableware set and playful, imaginative designs.
