From August 23, 2024, Laid Bug will host a solo exhibition "Lovely Absentees" by Hikaru Takata.
Hikaru Takata is an artist who engages with urban exploration, fieldwork documentation, and introspective reflection on personal memories. He creates works using various media. Previously, Takata has exhibited at the Ichihara Lakeside Museum (2018), Easteast_Tokyo (2020), Nishi-Ogikubo Haitsu (2021), and had a solo exhibition at Laid Bug last year.
This time, the exhibition at Laid Bug, his second solo show here, will feature works focusing on street trees based on his ongoing fieldwork.
