During the era of warring states, the warlords who survived the chaotic times left behind letters with seals called "kaou." The shapes of these seals vary depending on the warlord and the era, providing a diverse variety.
This mini-exhibition will introduce historical documents featuring unique and fascinating seals from various warlords spanning from the Warring States period to the Edo period.
