Fusako Kuramochi
Since her debut in 1972, manga artist Fusako Kuramochi has been at the forefront of drawing love stories. In the 1970s and 1980s, Kuramochi became a leading figure in the magazine "Bessatsu Margaret" (Shueisha), and her work was recognized for its delicate psychological descriptions and unique screen structure.

Kuramochi's representative work "Tennen Kokekko," published in 1994, won the 20th Kodansha Manga Award, and "Hana ni Somu," published in 2010, won the 21st Osamu Tezuka Cultural Award Manga Grand Prize. In addition, in 2018, he was featured in the NHK TV series "Half, Blue. In addition, her work such as "Chopin is Always in Your Pocket" made waves, appearing in the NHK TV series "Half, Blue," which aired in 2018.

In 2022, the 50th anniversary of Kuramochi's debut, this exhibition will feature original drawings of her representative work, from early days to latest work, and introduce her ever-evolving art career.
