Eleven women artists taking diverse approaches to their work transcend physical and psychological distances to explore issues of the body, gender, generations, countries, politics, the environment, and eras. Respecting each other’s differences, they go beyond the gender binary to consider ideas from an LGBTQ perspective and envision alternative futures. Matters including marriage and family systems, the relationship between technology and gender, pain relief during childbirth, and egg freezing are introduced. There will be a booklet and special events.
