A comprehensive look at the career of the nationally celebrated painter Kaii Higashiyama through 70 works including masterpieces such as “Vibrant Green” and landscapes from places such as Europe and Kyoto, plus studies and other works. This exhibition marks the first large-scale retrospective for Higashiyama’s career in Tokyo in a decade. There will also be a special showing of the Toshodaiji Miei-do Murals.
