To produce their work the students in this Department of Animation move beyond consciousness, focusing back into their minds as far as they can reach. It is here they can escape stagnancy and access an expansive fantasy world that’s infinitely clear. The title of the exhibition, “08 Zoom,” has been inspired by this creative process. It is the eighth occasion that graduate works produced by students of the Department of Animation, Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts have been presented. Enjoy this invitation to view their fantastic worlds close up.
