The Kagawa Museum is located in a cultural and historical area near JR Takamatsu Station and the Takamatsu Port, along with Tamamo Park containing the ruins of Takamatsu Castle, and the Kagawa Rexxam Hall.
It is a multi-functional museum that combines the functions of both a history museum and an art museum and is engaged in a wide range of activities such as exhibitions, research, and study.
