Iyanaga focuses on digital painting expressions marked by a "lack of texture" and the "pixel as a unit," concepts familiar to Iyanaga since childhood. In today's internet-dependent world, interest is expressed in how images are selected, elements chosen, and both the work and the surrounding space created.
New works such as "Play Ground," which merges the digital aesthetics of monitor-displayed data with physical materials to create striking texture and mass contrasts, are featured in this exhibition. Additionally, new hanging scroll-like works will be displayed on the wall.
