Finished
Since its opening on March 28, 1993, the Edo-Tokyo Museum has been well known as a museum that introduces the history of Tokyo from the Edo period using a wealth of materials and models. Currently, the museum is closed for a long period of time due to a large-scale renovation project.

This special exhibition, "Edo-Tokyo Museum Collection: City Planning in Edo Tokyo," introduces the transition of Tokyo from the Edo period to the modern era using materials and models from the permanent exhibition section of the Edo-Tokyo Museum.
