Tamiji Kitagawa
Tamiji Kitagawa (1894-1989), after studying in America and working in Mexico, returned to Japan in 1936 and collaborated with Sadajiro Kubo (1909-1996). They founded the "Kodomo Bunka Kai" in 1941 and published several picture books. Kubo donated part of the collection, including 225 Kitagawa works, to Moka City in 2013. This exhibition features 80 of those works, including original illustrations, and recently acquired Kitagawa pieces.
