Established in 2009 with three participants, Atelier Leaf now operates in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City, supporting over 20 individuals through its Type B continuous employment support program. In addition to employment support, the facility hosts weekly creative activities with a clinical art instructor, ensuring that each participant's time is respected. In recent years, the creations from these activities have been designed and commercialized, adding color to many people's lives.
The name "Leaf" reflects the desire to honor the unique individuality of each participant, much like the diverse types of trees and plants, each with its distinct leaves. This exhibition showcases the works of Atelier Leaf participants, offering a glimpse into the rich and varied expressions that resemble the sunlight filtering through the trees.
