"The Blind Humans and the Elephant", a video work by Shiro Masuyama presented in the exhibition goes around an ancient Indian anecdote called "The blind men and an elephant." where a group of blind people touch a giant elephant and talk over fragments of truth as if they were the whole truth. The video showcases people and herds of elephants encountering each other over industrial products that are mass-produced and discarded during the elephant festival seen in Kerala. We would like to invite you to witness both disruption and regeneration of the economy amid the giant waves of globalization, and feel the heat of life playing with the incarnation of God in the thick fog of air pollution.
