Rinko Kawauchi
Photographer Rinko Kawauchi was born in Shiga Prefecture in 1972 and has been active since her debut in 2001. Kawauchi's work, characterized by her unique pale color tones filled with soft light, captures the mystery, brilliance, fragility, and strength of human beings, animals, and all forms of life, and has been highly acclaimed both domestically and internationally.

This exhibition introduces Kawauchi's new series, "M/E," which is based on the theme of our connection to the earth, along with a new series of photographs of daily life during the COVID-19 pandemic, while interweaving his previously released series.
