Jo Shoda (1928-2016), known for narrative paintings featuring stylized figures and insects on white canvases, donated new materials to a museum in Ota in 2022. The exhibition focuses on the word "Akatuti" found in these materials, exploring the Akatsuchi-kai, a 1930s art club in Ota. It highlights works by Ota artists Miyoshi Otsuki and Jiro Shoda, reflecting on Jo Shoda's artistic career influenced by the artist's uncle and the group's cultural impact in Ota.
