Hiphop × Animal. Expressing the spirit of hip-hop, which holds onto one's beliefs steadfastly, through animals. Depicting animals that survive in harsh nature without being confined to the realistic colors, using the artist's sensibility.
Incorporating elements of hip-hop's unique evolution and the reverence for nature inherent in Japanese culture since ancient times, Mirai's artwork transcends into animal paintings on canvas, offering viewers the energy of daily life and the awe and rigor towards nature.
Hip-hop, which engages in unbridled self-expression, encompasses not only painting but also music, dance, sculpture, fashion, and more, forming a comprehensive cultural sphere and concept. Its essence lies in the rebellious spirit against the current status quo, and the artist's challenge to break free from fixed concepts provides viewers with the energy to battle through daily life and fosters new imagination.
