Hiroshima Museum of Art
Finished
Following the Meiji era, the influx of Western techniques led to a reevaluation of Japanese-style painting and fostered the creation of new forms of expression. This exhibition features works from the CP Kasei collection, based in Ibara, Okayama, to explore the early trends in Japanese-style painting. It traces the journey of tradition and innovation within this art form.
