Artists

Mabo
Mabo sculpts in metal, particularly brass and copper, and pursues a wide variety of expressions. In this exhibition, Mabo focuses on the continuity of linear geometric patterns and incorporates multidimensional elements. The myriad viewpoints created by the intersection of lines and lines intricately intertwined points, lines, and planes to create new spaces.

Furthermore, Mabo gives an organic image to inorganic metal by blowing it with verdigris. The verdigris is an oxidation phenomenon caused by the sun's ultraviolet rays over time, and by intentionally utilizing this process, he brings a unique hue and texture to the surface of the metal. In his new work, he blows the verdigris every day for 30 days on a single copper plate, creating a work that looks like a diary of sunlight.

The exhibition mixes sculpture works with the warmth of organic metal, offering new perspectives through events that at first glance appear to be two extremes, inviting us into a supernatural place.
