From the collection held by the Edo-Tokyo Museum (Sumida-ku, Tokyo), the exhibition will feature Hokusai Katsushika's "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji," consisting of all 46 prints (rotated between early and late periods), along with representative works by Hiroshige Utagawa, such as "Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō" and "One Hundred Famous Views of Edo." This will trace the trajectories of Hokusai Katsushika and Hiroshige Utagawa, who form a pair of master landscape print artists, and their respective "challenges." Additionally, the museum will exhibit Utagawa's personal effects and his last will and testament.
