Kengo Kuma
Renowned architect Kengo Kuma unveils the pavilion "Kugikumo," inspired by the Maniden, a masterpiece of modern temple architecture, and Sannodo, a Muromachi period building. The Maniden at Engyoji, designated as a national important cultural property, was designed by Goichi Takeda, influencing Kuma deeply. The fusion of Engyoji's architectural heritage and Kuma's work creates a new landscape for the Engyoji Three Halls.
