Shiga, close to Kyoto and home to mountains and Japan's largest lake, and Shigaraki, one of the Six Ancient Kilns, has accumulated know-how for creating large-scale works. Shiga Prefecture, with its distinctive geographical features, is a hidden art hub. This summer Omotesando Crossing Park will gather and exhibit works "Made in Shiga" in Tokyo.
