Picture books weave rich worlds through meticulously crafted illustrations and words. They are not only for children but also enjoyable for adults, offering a medium through which people of all ages can encounter discoveries. Currently, many picture book authors reside and work in Hyogo Prefecture.
BL Publishing Co., Ltd., located in Hyogo Ward, Kobe City, has published a diverse range of picture books for half a century. This exhibition will introduce valuable original illustrations and materials from the various picture books produced by this company. 220 works and materials from 33 artists will be on display.
"Selected Works of Ryohei Koiso I" will feature exhibit works by Ryohei Koiso in the museum's collection.
