Aona Hayashi
Aona Hayashi, a painter and illustrator, will publish a large-format book of her abstract paintings, ‘Kuromono,’ from the publisher Baci. In this exhibition to celebrate the publication of the book, Hayashi will show her past works included in the book as well as her newly drawn works. Hayashi’s work, with its impulsive lines and tranquility, invites the viewer’s mind into a primitive world. In this collection, triple-black printing is used to reproduce the powerful blackness and beautiful shading of ink, while the bold layout enhances the interest of the forms.
