Vinyl House is a collaborative exhibition by artists Hisaya Ito, Haruka Ota, and Tomoko Takemasa of a project started one year ago based on the key concepts of borders, obstructions, and ambiguity. Ito works in a wide range of mediums including sculpture, video, and photography. Ota takes a unique approach toward understanding the unsettling relationship between architecture and people. Takemasa examines alienation through an exploration of painting. In a loose collaboration, each artist brings a differing view to the Vinyl House.
