This show brings together a selection of artists working with different mediums to address the issue, the matter of pigment, of tone, matter, and sensuality. From drawing and painting to photography and video, the works of these nine artists explore radiance and surface, form and myth, narration and plasticity. Each artist questions their own use of filtering devices as they consider the nature of texture, from body to canvas, from print to performance.
