Twenty years ago, when we first visited San Francisco, we stopped by the Giant Robot Gallery. The feeling we had there—"we want to create a gallery like this in Japan"—was one of the inspirations that led to the founding of mograg gallery 17 years ago.

It is a great honor to be able to host their first exhibition in Japan at our gallery, especially considering that they have been at the forefront of West Coast Pop Art for 30 years. For us, who advocate for "Japanese Lowbrow Art," this exhibition will be a memorable encounter with the very core of that big movement.
