Toyo Bunko Museum

Toyo Bunko (Komagome, Tokyo), founded in 1924, is one of the five largest Asian studies research libraries in the world and the oldest and the largest institution of its kind in Japan. The museum was opened to arouse wide interest in Oriental history as well as culture. The museum incorporates state of the art exhibition rooms and audio-visual equipment to show cultural treasures, source materials and artworks selected from the million volumes held. This innovative museum offers educational yet entertaining exhibitions on Oriental history. There is also a museum shop and a restaurant.
