Hoshun Yamaguchi Memorial Hall

One of the greatest modern Japanese painters, Hoshun Yamaguchi (1893-1971) spent 23 years in Hayama and produced numerous works. The Museum was founded in 1991 by JR Tokai Lifelong Learning Foundation, which received land, building facilities and the whole collection of Hoshun, as donated by his wife.

You will experience works of Japanese-paintings, the artist's collection of art and the atelier where lots of his great works were produced. You can also enjoy seasonal flowers in the well-kept garden.
