The Foundation of Picture-Book Museum is located in Okaya city in Nagano prefecture. Picture book illustrator, Wakiko Sato is the President of our museum. We exhibit various original pictures and paintings,mainly of picture books, of domestic and foreign. Inside our museum, we have Picture Book Library where you can comfortably read and see wide range of Picture Books.

| Hours | 10:00-17:00 Until 17:30 in August. Until 16:30 from November to January. Closed on Tuesday, Wednesday Open on a public holiday Tuesday and Wednesday but closed on the following day. Closed during the winter and in between exhibitions. |
